Our Story
So.. you just had a baby and you feel like you don't know the first thing to do. You don’t know when baby is hungry or when to change him. You felt like you were prepared for THIS moment and suddenly realize you aren't.
How do I find ME again?
👆 Me... after the birth of my firstborn in 2011
Trying to adjust to this “NEW" normal was challenging. Feelings of hopelessness, not being supported, and being unprepared was so different. This should have been a happy joyous moment - wow the birth of my first baby!
Instead, it left me feeling overwhelmed, worried, with high anxiety and leaving me with a TERRIBLE case of the "Baby Blues" also known as postpartum depression.
Searching high and low I looked for a place that would support me, hell, even just to listen to me talk.
With no success this is what prompted me to create an experience for moms like myself to help them on their postpartum journey.
See, my journey wasn't easy. Postpartum really took a toll on me but we at After Birth are here to support you along the way!
